How to correct the error "Umbrella Merge Conflict" in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer

This weekend is the first chance to people try the multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Activision thanks to an alpha surprise event on PlayStation 4. As you can imagine, the alpha is Not without problems and some players are running in some connection problems and error codes. A current error code is the "umbrella melting conflict" where players will not be able to join a multiplayer party.

The best way to solve this error is simply to restart the game and try again. It is impossible to say without confirmation of the Treyarch developers, but it seems that your connection to the lobby servers is interrupted and can not recover. It should repair automatically but does not do it. Restarting your game will reset the connection and you should be ready to go.

In the case where it does not solve the problem, you can not unfortunately do not do much as it would indicate broader problems on the servers. This is simply an integral part of the game in Alpha for a multiplayer game, which is mainly designed to catch problems like this and give developers a chance to solve them before the beta phase and a possible output of the game.

Remember that this is not the only chance you have to play Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War before leaving, because other beta weekends are on their way. If you only have a narrow window to play the game this weekend, you can always enjoy the fun on the following dates:
