It was a hard year for conferences. This is about the time in which we normally hit by important conventions with PAX, GDC and E3. Two of them were canceled. In its place several digital events have arisen, such as an IGN with multiple publishers, which has recently been announced. Instead of GDC, there was also the Steam Game Festival, the first insights and demos of the coming titles gave. Valve and Geoff Keighley seem to make an addition for the summer.

Keighley announced his official Twitter that you can see below that the Game Festival will return for the summer months, with the promise again first looks and demos of the upcoming titles. The time frame is approximately at the time, to which E3 had ran, and at least part of the material here is probably in a certain way part of this show. No details about what titles we can expect or which publishers will be involved.

Steam Game Festival: The Summer Edition will take place from 9 to 14 June. Ign's Summer of Games will also take place in June, but has no specified data yet.
