Team Ninja responds to the rumors of Ninja Gaiden reboot
Last week the interest that Fiumicino Masada, president of Team Ninja, has to carry out reboots of his most popular series, such as Ninja Garden and Dead or Alive, was announced. Although there is no official one for the moment, a representative of this study has clarified these comments. While these plans are not confirmed or denied, we are very likely to have more information within a long time.
Through an interview with VGC, Tom Lee, creative director of Team Ninja, said that, despite the interest that you have, at the moment there is not something to announce related to these two series. This was what he said about it:
Dead or Alive and Ninja Garden are pillar franchises for Team Ninja. These famous titles are synonymous with the history and reputation of our study.
It is not necessary to say that, when talking about the development of our past and future projects, these two important titles cannot stop mentioning. However, there are no details or information to share about any of these franchises at this time.
Like many of our dedicated fans, we share the enthusiasm for the return of these beloved titles. And we will make sure to provide an adequate update, as long as that day comes.
Considering that Dead or Alive 6 reached the market in 2019, the idea of a reboot of this series sounds quite strange. However, the chances of this happening with Ninja Garden are higher. At the moment, Team Ninja is working at TO Long: Fallen Dynasty, so if you have something to announce, they would do so until the launch of this game next year. In related issues, you can learn more about these possibilities here.
Editor's note:
A new Garden Ninja game is something that is necessary. The series has remained silent for 10 years. It is time for this series to return and do not present something that can compete with the current hack and slash market.
